"Alexandra Burke was born to play the disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier" The Stage
X Factor winner and vocal powerhouse Alexandra Burke takes over the reins as disco diva-in-disguise Deloris van Cartier alongside television and stage legend Lesley Joseph who ‘brings masterly comic timing’ (Church Times) as Mother Superior.
Completing the 'heaven-sent' (Telegraph) congregation are television and stage star Lesley Joseph, BRIT Award-winning singer songwriter Lemar, winner of TV’s Any Dream Will Do Lee Mead, and West End favourites Lizzie Bea, Alison Jiear, and Carl Mullaney.
Based on the beloved film and featuring a marvellous Motown-inspired score by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken, this story of music, mishaps and nuns on the run is a joyous and uplifting tale of finding your voice and singing out, with your sisters by your side.
A ‘must-see show’ (Daily Star Sunday) that has brought joy to over half a million people in London and on tour, don't miss the award-winning musical that raises your voice like no other.
Please note: The theatre's platform lift is out of service until August 5. There are 10 steps with handrails down to the Stalls from the main foyer. Circle tickets do not have lift access. Please contact the theatre if your visit is affected by this issue.
